Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd, the concessionaire for the high speed train KLIA Transit services today in a statement said that the company will be mobilizing more crew members to help the crowd movement during the Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix this weekend, thus ensuring a smooth movement of racing fans using the KLIA Transit trains and the shuttle buses provided to take them to the Sepang International Circuit [SIC].
ERLSB chief executive officer Dr Aminuddin Adnan said, “We are expecting a big crowd this weekend with the usual last minute rush to buy tickets due to the election. We also hope that the crowd will follow the instructions from the KLIA Transit crew members so that they can disperse in an orderly manner, especially after the race”. He added that the KLIA Transit crew will be in their bright red uniform and are well trained to handle the situation.
Officials from SIC and the police will also be at hand to help ERLSB crew members with the movement of the crowd so that the situation be improved compared to last year, he said, adding, “We hope the racing fans will have a memorable day at the ‘World’s Hottest Race’.”
Packages are available up to race day, Sunday 23 March 2008 at all KLIA Transit ticket counters and SIC sales outlets at Stesen Sentral KL, KLCC and Subang Parade. They only had to wait four minutes of extra-time to take a lead they would not relinquish, Cech punching a Jenas free-kick on to Woodgate’s head and the ball trickling into an empty net.
Chelsea had to attack but the outstanding Woodgate and Ledley King stood firm, Blues substitute Salomon Kalou and Joe Cole both seeing shots saved by Robinson, but they were nothing more than half-chances.
